About
The team behind AlertForge
AlertForge is an AI stream alert generator and animated overlay pack builder for Twitch, YouTube, and Kick. It was founded in 2026 by Lasan Kekulawala to answer one question: why does a single custom alert still take hours in After Effects when AI video models can produce one in minutes?
Lasan Kekulawala
Founder & Engineer
Lasan designs and builds AlertForge end to end — the render pipeline, the OBS overlay runtime, the billing system, and the Viewer Alerts payout flow. He writes the AlertForge blog, where guides and the original data studies are published under his own name. You can reach him through X (@alertforgeAI) or the support page.
What AlertForge is
AI-native from day one
Every alert and overlay scene is generated, not templated. The Veo 3.1 family renders alert video, GPT-Image-2 paints overlay scenes, Kling Video v3 Pro animates them, and BiRefNet v2 extracts transparent cam frames.
Transparent WebM, no green screen
AlertForge exports VP9 WebM with a real alpha channel. Alerts composite cleanly in OBS Browser Source and Media Source with zero chroma-key artifacts.
Built with streamers, measured in production
Hundreds of creators have built alert templates with AlertForge since launch. Product decisions come from real render data, not guesses — we publish some of it on the blog.
Payments and safety handled properly
Subscriptions and Viewer Alerts tips run on Stripe, streamer payouts on Stripe Connect Express, and every viewer-submitted prompt passes OpenAI moderation before it ever reaches a video model.

Why trust what we publish
Guides on the AlertForge blog are written by the person who built the product, against the actual render pipeline, and our data posts are computed from AlertForge's own production database with the methodology stated in the post. When we compare AlertForge to other tools on the comparison pages, we list concrete numbers — pricing, formats, render times — not adjectives.
